Network Information Manager
Network Information Manager is a tool for tracking and managing IT resources across multiple sites. In essence it eases the dull but essential task of documenting IT resources.
It is primarily intended for IT helpdesks, making it quick and easy to connect to remote devices (servers, clients, network infrastructure nodes) irrespective of how varied the connection methods. In addition it presents help desk staff with structured and meaningful data about remote sites, including for example user entered narrative describing roles and warranty information.
For network management it reports: core asset information (location, assignment, date of acquisition); lifetime / warranty information; and basic server and client configuration data. It also integrates with third party tools including Nagios.
System requirements:
- Microsoft Windows XP service pack 2 or later
- Microsoft Windows Vista service pack 1 or later
