CONSULTANCY

Our clients achieve business success by design not accident. We seek to understand and further clients' goals. Our approach is business led, pragmatic and accountable.

Our business consultants have successfully understood and improved business processes in many different businesses. Because we are outsiders, our view of your systems and of your staff will be more objective. Because we have seen so many systems, run in so many different ways, we know what works and what doesn't and can help disseminate best practice. We aim to be both pragmatic and refreshingly candid.

Our consultants are able to work with a wide range of briefs. The following are two examples of possible briefs, but this is very far from an exhaustive list and you should contact Protronics with details of your specific requirements.

PROBLEM PROJECTS

When a project has gone wrong, all that matters from a business perspective is how to achieve the business goals that the software project represents, in an acceptable timescale and cost. Drawing on experience spanning technical and business management, we are able to swiftly identify a pragmatic route to achieving your business goals. The solution may be technical (e.g. change your software tools), or commercial (e.g. renegotiation of business goals and project resources) , or both. When the project is back on track, we will of course brief you candidly on the underlying issues.

NETWORK AUDIT

If you have concerns about whether your network is properly supporting your business goals, or if you want to demonstrate to senior management that it is, a good place to start is with a network audit. Protronics consultants will review both your procedures and your technology. We will identify particular risks to your system - such as a weak anti-virus regime - and we will identify ways in which your network could be more productive - such as through enabling people to share information more effectively.
