ACHIEVING STABILITY
THROUGH CONSISTENCY
A first requirement of a network is that it is stable, that
it delivers access to your networked resources day in and day
out without excitement. A poorly implemented network can appear
to behave like a set of spinning plates, with some IT wizardry
required to keep it spinning. Protronics work hard to determine
what makes networks that are boringly stable. We then apply
that knowledge to our builds, with systems in place to ensure
that we consistently build to the same standard.
Of course, in practice, networks are rarely left in the same
state for long. At the very least, they should be changed every
time there are updates to anti-virus software. Any change to
a network necessarily entails some risk. While Protronics cannot
eliminate that risk, we can help to reduce it. So far as is
practical, we apply consistent builds across our client base,
ensuring that lessons learnt on one network are applied to another.
